Douskos Guesthouse - Hydra (Saronic Islands)

Upon arrival, our reservation was mysteriously missing from the system despite prior communication. The air conditioning in the room was inadequate, leaving us uncomfortably warm.

Amazing food every day!

The room was beautifully decorated, new-fashioned with nice bathroom. The restaurant was nice, good service, delightful food. The staff was very very helpful, caring, and responded promptly to requests. The location in a lovely area was marvellous and perfect.

The rooftop breakfast offers fine panoramic views of the harbor, making it a good start to the day.

The breakfast was delicious and marvellous especially croissants and pastries they served were amazing. Location: the hotel was very close to taverns, coffe-shops and markets, all the cafes and restaurants in the port, and bars and restaurants...

The service was EXCELLENT.

The rooftop breakfast was the highlight of my stay, offering fine panoramic views of the harbor and good flavors. I was pampered with really good hospitality from Angeliki, were really good by arranging my ferry and sharing insider tips on where to eat and shop. The uniquely spacious Junior Suite with a sea view.

Thoroughly enjoyed our room that was renovated with new larg bathroom and available with a seaview, a lovely view plus a double bed.

The Beautiful Double Room with Balcony was really nice! It felt spacious and bright, and the balcony view was awesome. The bed was super comfy, made a huge difference for resting after exploring. Plus, the room was cleaned daily with attention to detail. Only downside was it wasn't fully private, but that's a minor thing. A solid stay!

The location is decent, but the clock tower bells wake you up way too early. Definitley not the serenity i expected. Plus, the breakfast was a sad short walk away, and three flights of stairs? Really! I almost gave a good review if i'd only received a complimentary bottle of wine for my troubles, but alas, no.

I loved the charming balcony view and the spacious room exceeded my expectations from my last visit to hydra. The breakfast on the rooftop was good with fine views of the harbor.

Douskos Guesthouse Review: The guesthouse features spotless, gorgeous rooms with balconies that provide great views and excellent amenities. The modern decoration adds to the appealing atmosphere. Its central location is a definite highlight, as it's conveniently situated next to the harbor and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Douskos guesthouse was fantastic! We were in the junior suite and the views were amazing. It's just 200 yds from the ferry. The staff, especially grace, were warm and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and brought right to our room.

Charming Stay with Beautiful Views!

The check-in staff were supportive, sharing local tips. I loved the cozy balcony overlooking the sea. Addition of a kettle made morning tea easy. Bring your own snacks, as breakfast is decent but not amazing.
